Rollin' Like Sisyphus

Pimp Hand

Posted in My Erstwhile Foe by Huckleberry on September 21, 2011

"Aloha," fittingly enough, means both "Hello" and "Goodbye." Plus, never in the history of diplomatic group photos has a U.S. President waved to the camera like a six-year-old waves to his parents at a soccer game.

When all the world’s a stage, our president is merely a mime trapped in a box.
Mark my words, this single image will come to sum up the presidency of my erstwhile foe, Barack “Passin’ The Rock” Obama, much like the “peace fingers” image sums up Nixon, the killer rabbit sums up Carter, McDonald’s sums up Clinton, and the shocked look in front of a bunch of kindergartners on 9/11 sums up Bush.
Its notable for its tone-deafness, for its perfect allegory on B-Rock’s time in the White House, and of course for the fact that the man must make every single thing, even a group photo of diplomats from around the globe, all about him.
Anyway.
Its been awhile, I’ve been ridiculously busy, and seriously, how many different ways can I say “we’re fucked” that is still interesting?
My only advice?
Don’t look down.
You’ll be there soon enough.

    It was perfection.
    One doesn’t dissect perfection…
Besides, if this were Facebook, you would’ve got the thumbs up.

I just like to hear you laugh, is all. Especially if I cause it.
