Experience Is The Best Teacher Of Last Resort

Posted in A Chronicle Of Decline by Huckleberry on March 18, 2014

In the same spirit that it’s always easier to ask forgiveness than to obtain permission, sometimes all the warnings in the world pale in comparison to reckoning with five minutes of the consequences of your actions.
As this young lady will kindly illustrate for your now:

Two things:
1) This girl just learned the word “vitriolically” five minutes before pressing the RECORD button
2) I don’t delude myself into thinking anything else than the fact that this is an emotional reaction to the political equivalent of a crush, no different than a teen girl who gets angry with whoever’s on the cover of Tigerbeat* when that guy is peeled off the floor of the drunk tank after shooting lines off a male escort’s abs. This girl didn’t reach her conclusions through reason, but through emotional turmoil, but at least she got there.

* Do they still have Tigerbeat magazine? Did they ever? I have no clue.

The fact that she still considers everything someone else’s fault tells you that she’ll be the first in line for the next rock star candidate that comes down the pike. Save the torch, sweetheart. You’ll need it again.

Yeah. She is stupid as she was then.

The government, whether elected or not, is of force. And, it is required to use force. There isn’t a way to make the nation of kumbaya. Some level of force is always necessary. I doubt if she will ever learn this. It’s a matter of directing that force in the best of directions. Using it to ensure property rights are respected, that big companies don’t quash little people wrongly, and allowed out so people can defend themselves. That’s it. Personally, I would rather have a rabid military that isn’t allowed to function within the state than a weak military but too much force in domestic police and intelligence agencies. Keep them busy, over there. As for the drug problem? Use the military to go after states that are too weak or inept or corrupt to handle the problem on their own. How fast, if a few key nations are controlled, would it take for the NSA to figure out who is doing what, and where they are?

Yeah, she’s just a twerker with a new twerk. Bleh.
