Rollin' Like Sisyphus

Huck vs Our Simple Affirmative Action President

Posted in The Fail Pail by Huckleberry on March 21, 2014

Another brick in the wall.

Another brick in the wall.

So we’re just into the second day of Round 1* in the NCAA Tournament, and here’s the score:

SECOND TALLY PICKS

HUCK: 13-3
OUR SIMPLE AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PRESIDENT: 14-2

SECOND TALLY POINTS

HUCK: 26
OUR SIMPLE AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PRESIDENT: 28

It’s close.
Most of my gamble calls payed off on the first day, but as I write this, Duke is hanging on by a thread. Two of my three misses were teams that lost in overtime, while both of the O-Force’s misses were never really contests to begin with.
This may just be closer than I thought, though.
Anyway, because I didn’t mention it earlier, the point scoring is simple: 2 points for every first-round pick, 4 points for every second round pick, 6 for every third round pick, 8 for every fourth round pick, 10 for every Final Four pick, and 12 points for picking the National Champion.
