A Fair Fight Isn’t A Fight At All, Plus Playoff Picks

Spread offense.

Spread offense.

Welcome to Thursday, folks.
While we wait with bated breath to see if the French, following 2 world wars, the onset of Modernism and the embrace of post-Modernism, will put down the Derrida long enough to realize that Existentialism isn’t everything Sartre promised it would be, and just maybe there is a meaning to life somewhere between the muzzle of an AK and your vichyssoise ass, more people are getting shot at and generally rampaged.
So we’ll see how that plays out.
A little closer to home, and by “home” I simply mean “mundane,” we’ve got ourselves some more football. Not too much surprised me last weekend except for Pittsburgh’s early and ignominious exit. I was especially not surprised by the PI call that was disappeared live on national television but don’t worry, the fix is in no way in, honest, so just shut up about it and remember to not beat your wives and be gay wherever possible, because the NFL is Super Progressive N Stuff.
Anyway.
On to the picks.

There never was such a thing as a fair fight. Which is why I don’t mind a fight being brought to me. I will quickly grade it and hand it back with a grade, and a mark. I don’t use the curve system. Well, not the one most are used to dealing with.

To be honest, even the French can beat muslims. They have just, as with most of the world, chosen to play the eunuch. Which most of the world seems to play well, mind you. To be fair, much of it is from the corruption of their politicians and media from muslim gold. Without the full story, with laws stacked against even self-defense, and some other things, it does take peasants a while to catch on. Then they torch the castle and behead people. That is on the way, probably no way to stop it, even less so to a people who have been created in the image of the Godless. What was the last French Revolution like? Ah, right… not too different from the Russian or German ones. Pretty nasty when you deny justice, truth, a fair shake, and then allow atrocity and general ineptitude by governors of all sorts.

Actually, I am no more looking forward to what is coming than I would for those others. At least now that I see why not, and some other things. Still, fair is fair, even if it goes well into unfair. But by taking, they are no longer the meek and thus cannot inherit the earth. Further, they surrendered God for government, and will receive neither. Chaos. Not a good thing, even or more so, when it becomes lawful chaos. Ugly pictures. Pray for them, if I believe most are doomed and glad of it.

Oh… right. Blathering again. About football. What? I know nothing and am interested in less. I thought you were quitting that feminizing rigged dead sport. Ah well, everybody needs their particular breed and arena. Must fit in.

Well, feel free to skip over football posts then.

I pretty much have. Havent hardly watched any NFL this season — at least compared to what I used to.
But I can still make my picks.

What was that about fighting? You want rules now? *grins*

I understand the French are motivated by fear. Methinks their political correctness is soon going to be over-ruled by their fear. At least the scales are tipping more that way.

One would hope, but the French have never been quite right since the Battle of Verdun.
You’d think they’d be over it after 99 years, but alas.
