Panzers To The Parthenon

Greece fires on Fort Frankfurt to see if a Union so dedicated can long endure:

All the evidence we present in this report shows that Greece not only does not have the ability to pay this debt, but also should not pay this debt first and foremost because the debt emerging from the Troika’s arrangements is a direct infringement on the fundamental human rights of the residents of Greece. Hence, we came to the conclusion that Greece should not pay this debt because it is illegal, illegitimate, and odious.

Not really civil war in the literal sense, but for all intents and purposes it is; if only to see if indissoluble political unions can in fact dissolve.
While the layman’s version of the American Civil War War of Northern Aggression insists it was about slavery, and while it technically wasn’t, in the only way that matters it was about slavery, just not the kind that made it into the textbooks, because every civil war is about slavery.
This one included.

Both sides of that civil war deserve to go down, hard. On a good note, as one shoots the other in the foot, both get shot as if in a mirror. Both may very well end the other by this. Couldn’t happen to a nicer lot. When I heard Greece had gone hard left (if even that didn’t actually work immediately), I was extremely pleased… just hoping the lefts would turn the key on the prison Greeks are about to/now have locked themselves in. The left, right or wrong, will eventually be strung up… just because.

If the debt was illegitimate, and all that, why have they continued paying it? Why keep borrowing? Oh, they could have made the payments, they just didn’t want the cuts to go with it. My guess is their .gov was about to feel the pain of the people, is all. No reason to hang for national debt payments. The Greek .gov simply saw the Greeks as far more dangerous to their personal skin than a Greek failure. I guess Eurocrats and bankers only threatened to break legs? Maybe only kill friends and relatives (remember, these are hard left, only care about their OWN skin). Or maybe the Greek people seemed a lot closer, more able, and bloody minded about it.

Nothing over there is right. There isn’t a right side to be on. Same here, becoming much more, and clearly, noticeable, but still most of the sheeple don’t see the cliff. Economy, business, politics, and religion have already decided on really bad things. At this time, the sheeple are just being agitated and warmed up for the run off the cliff. Though their fate was sealed long ago. The easy life made them too difficult to be useful. And they became overpaid. How much of the unpayable debt is due to pensions, fringe benefits, salaries that aren’t sustainable, and other such? The other half of the unpayable debt was from companies betting themselves into the dirt, with .gov backing their play deeper into the dirt. No good guys, or right sides to be on, here either.
